<TH style="HEIGHT: 14px" vAlign="middle" scope="col" align="right" width="67">
<IMG id=imgAddNew
onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image15','','/images/<%=strImgName_New_O%>',1)"
style="CURSOR: hand" onclick="showMenu('tblMenu',100,44);"
onmouseout=MM_swapImgRestore() height=23
src="MailTools/images/<%=strImgName_New%>" width=59 border=0 name=Image15

varoPopBody= oPopup.document.body;
varHTMLContent= eval(menu).innerHTML;
oPopBody.innerHTML = HTMLContent;
oPopup.show(lefter - leftoff - 2, topper - topoff
+22,width,height,document.body);
}In yout javascript function your manipulate with variables. You never change
the html of the popup window. Should be

oPopup.document.body.innerHTML = HTMLContent;

I modified it as following and still wont display the table style

function showMenu(menu, width , height)
{

varlefter= event.clientX;
varleftoff= event.offsetX;
vartopper= event.clientY;
vartopoff= event.offsetY;
varoPopup= window.createPopup();
varHTMLContent= eval(menu).innerHTML;
oPopup.document.body.innerHTML = HTMLContent;
oPopup.show(lefter - leftoff - 2, topper - topoff
+22,width,/*newHeight*/height,document.body);
}

TabStrip control and Form

Hi,

I am using a tab strip control on a web page. One of the tabs has a user
control, which has a form with a submit button on it.

If I want to create another form on another tab of the same tab strip
control then, it gives me an error message that only one form can be
created.

I want to create another form with a submit button so that form can be
posted back to the server. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

YatinHi,

ASPX page can contain just one server side Form.
You can use the existing Form to send just the current tab controls by
using javascript. Alternetivly you can add regular Forms (without
runat=server) as much as you want

Taking a value from one window to another

I want to be able to allow a user to select a word from a list of words, but instead of using a drop down list, I want the user to click a button - which opens a new window containing the list of words, double click on the word (or words) selected, and the value of the word that was double clicked is automatically transferred to a text box in the previous (calling) window. Is this possible in ASP.NET?Passing data back to a parent window is entirely possible via lowly javascript - with or without ASP.NET server technology, but the user interaction method you have decided upon would be a little more unstable across browsers.
window.opener.document.getElementById('textbox1').value = "something";

Target Window question

Im trying to target="top" when the user click on the login button - But its not working for me, any ideas where i put Target="top" sorry im new to .aspx

cheers

ZOIK

Example of code.

<asp:Login ID="Login1" runat="server" BackColor="#F7F6F3" BorderColor="#E6E2D8" BorderPadding="4"
BorderStyle="Solid" BorderWidth="1px" Font-Names="Verdana" Font-Size="Small"
ForeColor="#333333" Height="147px" Width="293px" DestinationPageUrl="~/secure_industry/Default.aspx">
<TitleTextStyle BackColor="#5D7B9D" Font-Bold="True" Font-Size="0.9em" ForeColor="White" />
<InstructionTextStyle Font-Italic="True" Font-Size="Small" ForeColor="Black" />
<TextBoxStyle Font-Size="X-Small" />
<LoginButtonStyle BackColor="#FFFBFF" BorderColor="#CCCCCC" BorderStyle="Solid" BorderWidth="1px"
Font-Names="Verdana" Font-Size="Small" ForeColor="#284775"/>
<LabelStyle Font-Size="Small" />
<CheckBoxStyle Font-Size="Small" />
<HyperLinkStyle Font-Size="Small" />
</asp:Login>

Hi,

I think it is not possible to do that with the inbuilt login control. What you can do is create a login template with the code from the below link and then set the onclick event of the button control to target="_top"

http://quickstarts.asp.net/QuickStartv20/util/srcview.aspx?path=~/aspnet/samples/ctrlref/login/LoginTemplate.src

Let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks mate thats excellent.

Target=_black problem

Hi,

I have to button in my page.

<asp:ButtonID="btn_search"runat="server"OnClick="btn_search_Click"ValidationGroup="btn"ToolTip="Show Report"PostBackUrl="~/RptIndent.aspx"OnClientClick="form1.target='_blank'"/>

<asp:ButtonID="btn_Logout"runat="server"OnClick="btn_Logout_Click" ToolTip="Log out" />

problem is what, i have written on btn_Search onClientClck="form1.target='_blank'">

so it open the report in new window.

bt after if i click on logout button it opens login page in a new window !!!

what is this problem.

Can anybody help me out

It' s urgent !!!

-Sandeep

Surely that should be expected?! You've set the target attribute of the form to open in a new window so of course all requests will follow this target. If you are going to change it for one button, you will have to change it back for those where you don't want this behavior.

Hi,

I understand the thing .

but thing is what i have user control on my web page.

user conrtrol contains logout link button.

in page i have show report button. when i click on show report it opens a new window and show the report.

i close it and click on logout on parent page. it redirect me to login page with a new window.

what to do...

it's an urgent

targetSchema - Netscape Buttons wont work

I am creating a new web site and this one is for all browsers.

The targetSchema is Navigator 4.0.

I have created a button and placed some code behind, something I have done a thousand times.

Why then won't the code work in this targetSchema when the button is clicked?

Thanks,

Zathnevermind, I had some text boxes on a control on that form and the button was trying to validate them... DOH

Targetting the frameset from the address bar

Hello fellows,
I have a Web application using frameset and frames. When I click in a
hyperlink button I can send the selected aspx page using the "target"
attribute into the selected frame. However when the aspx page is called from
IE address bar the page is loaded into the entire browser and not into the
frame I would like to. I tried to use the target attribute of the attribute
form but it does not work.
I noticed that when the page is called from the address bar the content of
"Request.UrlReferrer" is null but I do not find how to send this page into
the desired frame programmatically.
It would be appreciated if anybody knows how to redirect the page into the
frame.
Thanks in advance
PetePut this in the HEAD section of the subframe pages that people could try to
load without the main frameset page:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!--

if (top.location.href.indexOf("frameset.aspx") == -1)
top.location.href = "frameset.aspx";

// -->
</SCRIPT>

Thanks a lot Peter

After a dummy test with frameset I finally got what I need with your answer.

Pete
