TableCell

I am using the TableCell object from the framework.
How can I mark a TableCell to correspond to a TH tag, when it gets converted
to a HTML table?

tabstrip webcontrol can not work in framework 1.1

(Type your message here)
Hi all,
I've encountered a problem when opening an aspx page with a tabstrip
webcontrol on a windows 2003 server. (.net framework version 1.1).
I created the tabstrip in Windows 2000 and framework version was 1.0.3075. R
ight now it does not supported by the new version of framework. (1.1)
How should I do?
Thanks a lot!

Since you can get the source code for the tabstrip, you may be able to
recompile it for 1.1:

Taking the plunge - first .net question

I'm a traditional ASP developer and am experimenting with asp.net. I
installed .NET Framework 1.1 and make a quick and dirty test page called
random.aspx . Can anyone tell me why this page doesn't write the value of
"X" to the page AND why I can view the <% %> source code in the browser? It
makes me think that my IIS doesn't recognize .aspx files.

Thanks

If you can view the code, it's because your aspx is processed by IIS as an HTML file and that why your code is not runned.

Is your web folder an Application in IIS ?
As far as I can tell.

See: http://www.drpt.state.va.us/iis.gif (see "test" web site")
Try removing the space here
<% @.Page...
to <%@. Page...

Your folder is an application and as far as I know, your .aspx file should be processed.

Tapestry-like Page Framework?

Hi all!
Is there any tapestry-like page framework built on ASP.NET?
I want to be able to write simple page like this:
<html>
..
<body>
Hello, <span insert="User.Name">TestName</span>!
<table>
<tr iterateOver="ProductCollection" itemVariable="product">
<td insert="product.Name">TestProduct</td>
<td insert="product.Price">$1000</td>
<td><input type="checkbox" bind="product.Ordered"/></td>
</tr>
</table>
</body>
</html>
The UI controls are used implicitly, decided by their attributes rather
than the tag name, and their data binds to speficied objects directly
(i.e. there should be nothing like TextBox.Text). And web designers can
edit & preview the page in WYSIWYG editors without any problem, since
it's just plain HTML.Aquila Deus wrote:

I guess nobody is doing this for .NET... I'll probably need to write it
myself :)
